Working Well Together is offering a free half day awarenes course in February.
It will run from 9am until 12 noon approx. The training is kindly being delivered by Boss Training Ltd. There are 12 places on the course. The course is for companies (inc self-employed) with up to 10 employees. Two people per company max.
If you are doing or likely to do intrusive refurbishment work affecting the fabric of the building by law you need to have completed a half day asbestos awareness course. It is vital that you have an awareness of where asbestos containing materials are likely to be found, the different types of asbestos there are and what it can do to your long-term health if fibres are breathed in. This is whether an asbestos survey is available to you, or not.
