C&D launch Demolition Toolbox Talks videos for free
The demolition and construction industries require site tool box talks to be given to the workforce on a weekly basis and those talks are traditionally done by the site supervisor standing in front of the workers and talking about a specific item that relates to the contract. Having attended hundreds of these talks over the years John decided that he would record a few small videos, running from 2 to 5 minutes to be used as an addition to the traditional toolbox talks in getting the message across to the workers and, as training budgets are continually reduced in these hard times, he decided to offer them for free, either to watch online via YouTube (just like the video above) or as a download.
The series of 12 talks cover topics such as RPE, emergency procedures, environmental issues, etc. and were designed to be viewed on site laptops, smartphones, or on computers, with one of our clients intending to release them to their workforce via their company Facebook page and Twitter.
We realise that the talks could be longer, have a hollywood actor in the films rather than John, and be more specific on certain points, but please view them as they are intended. That is as additional training aids to give some variation on the way training is delivered, and please download them and see how the workforce like them. If they do, then all of the talks will be available shortly subtitled into Polish and Romanian with other languages to follow.
We hope that you download them, use them, and hopefully enjoy them.
We made them because we are passionate about both demolition and safety, and if by offering them for free we save just one life or prevent an accident then the cost and effort involved in producing them will have been worthwhile.
The talks are all available on this training site. They will always be available here via the menu at the top of the site under the heading Toolbox Talks. Alternatively, you can email us and we'll send you a link to download them.
