Free seminar on Practical Pollution Control Guidance & Business Benefits

On Tuesday 9th July a free seminar is being held at the Bethel Convention Centre in West Bromwich that will cover Practical Pollution Control Guidance & Business Benefits.

Here's the details:

This seminar will be looking at the various forms of pollution that apply to most businesses (air, land and water), how they can be controlled or minimised in a practical way and how doing this can benefit the business as well as the environment. The majority of businesses create waste, or have water going into the drainage system, so even if you don't have any of the issues usually associated with pollution control, such as stack emissions or solvent use, this seminar should still be relevant to your business.

The areas covered will include:
  • Practical information on how pollution, whatever it's form, can be controlled, minimised or even prevented.
  • The various ways in which pollution control can be of benefit to the business.
  • The legal requirements relating to pollution control.
There will also be a case study by a local company, who have addressed pollution prevention and control and benefitted as a result, and as usual there will be an update on the latest environmental legislation, together with an opportunity to raise any issues or queries you may have with the advisers present.

If you would like to attend please get in touch with Julie Coxon, Environmental Business Manager at Sandwell MBC either by phone (0121 569 6603) or email: julie_coxon@sandwell.gov.uk
