The NEBOSH Environmental Certificate covers the practical issues of managing environmental risk and environmental health and safety. The course syllabus takes a risk management approach based on best practice and international industry standards.

Managers, supervisors and employees, who have responsibility for managing environmental issues, as part of their role and duties. The qualification focuses on UK law and environmental management systems. It also provides a sound basis for progression on to the NEBOSH National Diploma in Environmental Management.

NEBOSH Environmental Certificate Assessments:
Following this course, the examinations comprise of a 2-hour written paper (Unit NEC1). (All questions are compulsory) and the practical assessment (Unit NEC2) which consists of carrying out a workplace environmental inspection and preparing a short report.
