NFDC release new Asbestos Guidance Note

In response to requests from their members the NFDC have released a new guidance note for Non licensed asbestos work.

The NFDC website states:-

The industry is one step ahead in releasing their latest Guidance Note. With limited information available from other sources with regards to Non-Licensed Asbestos Removal Work, the NFDC has taken it upon itself to produce and release this informative & concise document.

The Industry Guidance for Non-Licensed Work with Asbestos containing Materials within a Demolition Refurbishment Environment is now available Free of Charge through the NFDC or you can download your copy here.

The industry was best placed to develop this Guidance due to our technical expertise and our experience in this field. Our members were crying out for a best practice guide to ensure the industry is able to maintain the high standards we set’ - Howard Button NFDC CEO

With input from Dr Terry Quarmby and Toby Comley in the development of the Guidance, we are sure both the Demolition industry and Refurbishment industry will find it a very useful document.

If, after reading the new guidance, you feel that additional training is required for your workforce please contact john.woodward@demolishdismantle.co.uk and book onto a CAT B course.
