This week is Global Asbestos Awareness Week

The USA have designated this week to be asbestos awareness week to help to raise awareness of the fact that asbestos kills tens of thousands of people each year across the World with over 4000 people a year dying from asbestos related diseases in the UK alone.

Linda Reinstein, who you can follow on twitter at @Linda_ADAO has been campaigning ceaselessly for a total ban on asbestos in the USA for years and it is her constant lobbying of the US Government that will eventually lead to a total ban on asbestos products in North America.

The fact that this week is Global Asbestos Awareness Week does not change anything at C&D as we will continue to deliver asbestos awareness training on an almost daily basis to demolition companies and other types of companies that may come into contact with asbestos products.
