West Midlands Branch Technical Evening being held 25th February

On Tuesday, February 25th a West Midlands Branch Technical Evening is being held by The Institute of Quarrying. The title of the presentation is "Health & Safety Best Practice for Wheeled Loading Shovels and Articulated Dump Trucks" and will be given by Robin Piper, national accounts sales manager for Bell Equipment UK LTD.

Here's a description of what will be discussed:

"Mobile plant, including wheeled loaders and ADTs, are an essential part of the quarrying industry but can also provide its biggest challenges in terms of safety. This talk will cover the development of safety on these items of plant and look at how taking on the driver’s perspective modern plant has continued to improve its safety performance. Robin has many years of experience in quarrying at the sharp end as well as in providing new equipment to the industry. This talk is bound to provide interest and food for thought across the industry."
