Work-related cancer causes 666,000 deaths each year world wide. IOSH's No Time to Lose is a campaign working to get the causes of occupational cancer better understood and to help businesses take preventative action.

IOSH Occupational Cancer “No Time to Lose Campaign” September 10th
The IOSH has sent through details of a presentation happening on September 10th called IOSH Occupational Cancer “No Time to Lose Campaign.”
The presentation will be given at the Ramada Telford Ironbridge Hotel, Forge Gate, Telford TF3 4NA and is free to attend.
Details of the event are as follows:
"In support of the current IOSH 2015 “No Time to Lose” Occupational Cancer campaign, this presentation will provide members with knowledge about the agents that can cause cancer, give information about reducing the effects and provide an insight into future health problems expected to affect the UK workforce.
John Lacey is a Chartered Fellow of IOSH and a former President – in 2003-04, and is also one of the Vice-Presidents. He has spent more than 40 years in health and safety and is the Managing Director of Lincsafe (Health and Safety) Ltd. He was also a Technical Director for WSP Group and is a consultant to various national construction and process organisations. An international lecturer, John is past Chair of the IOSH Construction Group, a past Chair of the Yorkshire Branch, an Honorary Fellow of the Association of Project Safety, a Fellow of the Safety Institute of Australia and a Member of the American Society of Safety Engineers.
This presentation is aimed at anyone with a responsibility for, or an interest in health and safety. You will also have the opportunity to network with other health and safety professionals to build contacts and share knowledge."
