MGC amend requirements regarding use of MEWPS

Nationwide Platforms has sent us through the following news:

From 31st October 2013 the UK Contractors Group is mandating the advanced IPAF PAL+ cards for netters, steel erectors and their associated trades. Make sure you and your employees are prepared and hold the relevant operator licence for working on site.

• Researched and developed by IPAF
• Aimed at operators working in challenging environments
• Emphasis on practical and hands-on training
• Open to all operators holding an existing PAL card
• One day of training for a five year licence
