Is demolition work picking up?

Here at C&D we think that demolition work is starting to pick up based upon the number of courses booked with us over the last few days with over 700 hours of training booked last week.

If you need NDTG Demo/Abo Awareness courses in Birmingham then the C&D courses on 5th October and 19th October at the ever popular venue of Casey Joe's, Acocks Green are already FULLY BOOKED, but there are spaces on the NDTG open courses at Coleman & Company, Great Barr on Wednesday 30th October and Thursday 14th November when the trainer will be Roland O'Connor.

The price for all courses is £70.00 per person plus VAT.

Roland O'Connor becomes NVQ assessor

C&D Consultancy are pleased to announce that Roland O'Connor, one of our lead demolition trainers, has been accepted to become an NVQ assessor for NDTG.

Rammer training in Finland

This week sees John, Roland and Craig of C&D and Duncan Rudall (IDE Vice President) of DCS Training head to Finland and to Rammer headquarters for induction and training in the operation of Rammer hammers. This will lead to C&D and DCS Training becoming the World Wide trainers for Rammer on their hammer products.

This week is another considerable investment by C&D and DCS to ensure that both companies are at the forefront of demolition training whenever and wherever it is required.

Windmill Demolition choose C&D Consultancy for environmental awareness training

When Windmill Demolition of Manchester decided to carry out Environmental Awareness training for their workforce they had many training courses and training providers to choose from and a wide range of prices from those providers, so we are particularly pleased that they chose to place the order with C&D Consultancy.

We delivered the new C&D Consultancy Environmental Awareness course, developed by Dr. Roland O'Connor in conjunction with the Institute of Environmental Health, to their workforce on Saturday 23rd March to very good feedback. The one day course covers environmental awareness from a demolition viewpoint with group work and handouts.

Coalway Building Services Limited choose C&D Consultancy for their annual asbestos awareness refresher training

Coalway Building Services of Wolverhampton take asbestos awareness seriously as they are constantly called upon to work in both domestic and non domestic properties where asbestos could be present and have, for the last three years used C&D Consultancy to deliver their annual refresher training. This year's refresher training will be held on Friday 5th April and the trainer will be Dr. Roland O'Connor.

C&D Consultancy trainer is upgraded to MIDE

Roland O'Connor, one of C&D's registered trainers for NDTG courses, has continued with his own training over the last few months and is now a Full Member of IDE.

Roland is well known for delivering training courses in asbestos awareness, environmental awareness and IOSH Managing Safely, but not many people know that he has also taken and passed the NDTG Demolition Manager course, the IDE entrance exam, and has now completed his professional interview to become a full member of IDE.
