HSE Summer Blitz concentrates on 3 key issues where training is vital

The HSE are concentrating their Summer Blitz campaign on 3 key areas this time around and all of those areas require training that can be provided by C&D. The areas of concern to HSE are:-

1. Leadership in H&S. HSE want to see Directors and managers setting the standards on safety and will require evidence of approved training courses such as IOSH Managing Safely or IOSH Directing safely, both of which can be booked through C&D.
2. Face fitting of masks is another area of concern so why not train your supervisors to face fit masks and then they will never be a need to call in an external company to face fit.
3. Asbestos continues to be an area of concern particularly where companies believe, incorrectly, that asbestos awareness training allows them to remove non notifiable asbestos products. If you intend to remove non notifiable products then you need NDTG CAT "B" training delivered by C&D
